CONGRATULATIONS MENIFEE... YOU'RE A BIG KID NOW!

The public has been heard and the tallies are still being counted and Measure F has a very strong showing of passing to make Menifee it's own City, With the simple
city name of MENIFEE.

(Darn! We were hoping for Menifee Valley... hence our wonderful site's name)

411MenifeeValley.com welcomes with open arms the valley's of Qual Valley, Romoland and as always, Sun City, to share our wonderful city and hope that we can all work together to make this new Cityhood a wonderful plan for ALL of us.

We strongly believe only good can come from this decision. It may take some time, but good will happen. Let's all just stay involved in our new city and fix what needs to be fixed, keep what needs to be kept, improve what needs to be improved and grow together as a community.

As far as our City Council Candidates... there are currently five leaders, however, final count of ballots for write in candidates will not be final until 28 days post election. There are still 600 provisional and duplicate ballots (which means lines drawn twice for your selection which then have to be counted manually) still to be posted. As of now, the leaders stand as follows:

Wallace Edgerton 9.34%, Darcy Kuenzi 7.87%, Frederick Twyman, III 6.93%, Scott Mann 6.82% and John Denver 6.47%
with Dean Deines closing in on John Denver only 11 votes behind and at 6.44%

Measure G has passed for future elections to be voted based on Districts.

Tuesday, June 3rd - VOTE TODAY FOR CITYHOOD!

As our beautiful Menifee Valley is growing and changing, YOU DO HAVE A SAY, on how much, where and when. But you only have a say if you become proactive in voting for our new City Council. And simply voting is not enough. You must educate yourself on all of our candidates and on all of our current issues. And most importantly, you must go get your information from the proper sources.

Please don't only listen to your neighbor's views or the local clerk at the checkout and go to the ballot. Find out for yourself and make your own opinions. Where do you go to get candidates information is what everyone is asking?
